Friends’ Birthday
Last Tuesday was my friend’s birthday. It had been a long time I did not see my Taiwanese friends. I sent he a letter to congratulate for him, and he e-mail me for thank and gave me many photos of my friends. I really missed when I saw them in those photos, I hope we can keep our friendship for every.
Tired
I have a not good habit of my live now after I lived by myself. That is I always stay up all night. Well, I know it is not good for health and studying, but I was used to sleep in the afternoon, then, in the night I could not sleep until very late. I should not sleep afternoon, but sometimes I just so tired for everything, and sleeping was the best way to relax. Maybe I need to find out something interesting to make me wake up in the afternoon, that I can have a nice dream for the night.
Boring
After I came here, I always did not know to do what for my free time after school. I always just slept after the finish the homework then wake up in the night. And I would out of my mind for a long time and watched movies or playing computer games. Then, I would sleep a while in the evening. It just always the same for my live, it was quite boring that I wanted to find something else for me.

Stinkey Tofu
Stinky Tofu
Tofu is a food of Chinese origin, made by coagulating soy milk, and then pressing the
resulting curds into blocks.
Stinky Tofu maybe smell a little stinky for somebody, but actually it is very delicious.
Stinky tofu has been marinated in a brine made from fermented vegetables for as long as several months. The brine can also include dried shrimp, amaranth greens, mustard greens, bamboo shoots, and herbs.

Readind
Last weekend I went to a bookstore to look around. I really liked read novels when I was in my country. But after came to read a book became a difficult thing to me, so I was not so used to read novels now. And it was pretty boring without reading novel, so I sometime would go to the bookstore to find whether there had the new book. I hope my English can be improved to read a book easily.
Frame of Mind
After I came to America it had been three months, but I still could not speak good English. That made me a little despondent to myself. Maybe it was I did not practice enough in my living. I knew how to help myself that I need to more talk with my classmates, but it was a little hard to join them, because I did not what to say with them. Well, I still will try to talk with people; maybe what I need is more courage.
Movie
Last Thursday I was nothing to but just watched movies in my home after school. And I still not so used to watch movie without the film title, so half of movie I could not really understand what it talked about. Well, but it was very interesting to guess what were they doing. Maybe I will borrow more movies to watch with my friends.

Comparing and Contrasting between Santiago and Dorothy
This essay is talking about the Comparing and Contrasting between Santiago and Dorothy. Santiago and Dorothy were just two kids who lived in their peaceful homeland. But they both had the special dreams made them have the special journeys, and that made their lives change. In The Alchemist, Santiago was going to follow his personal legend to find the treasure what was directed in his dream. And in Wizard of OZ, Dorothy was going to find the way to turn back her home in the dream. Though their goals were that so different, but they both learned a lesson from their journeys. “He had the same dream that night as a week ago, and once again he had awakened before it ended.” The Alchemist page 4, Santiago had the dream for many times in the passed night, it was always about the big treasure that was in Egypt, and it helped Santiago to find the treasure. Dorothy’s home was taken by the tornado, and when she found out she was in a magical world after she woke up. Then she wanted to find the way to turn back home, but she did not that it was just a dream in her mind. For the treasure Santiago spent a lot of time and money to try going to Egypt, and he always traveled by himself. In the journey he met many kinds of people, and had some troubles in there. But by his mind of personal legend, he always could keep going. Dorothy was unused of her journey in the beginning, but she met three friends in there, and they always passed some situations together. They supported with each other anytime. Finally, Santiago got to Egypt, but he found out that there was not any treasure there, it was in his homeland. He knew that the journey was not frustrated; it was a lesson for him to become a man, an alchemist. And the end of Dorothy’s journey was that she killed the evil witch who controlled the world of OZ, and she found the way to home was just praying, so she really got home in the end. She had an exciting memory in her life. The two stories really have a lot of different, though they both began by a dream, and both have a journey, but they have the different purposes and learning. Santiago really learned a lot from his journey, but Dorothy just went home in the end, and she was not so different from when she began.

The Opinion of The writing
1. Jong Won: Actually I did not know what he read about today. Just like teacher said, his tone was difficult to understand.
2. Yu Ki: Her writing was not bad, but maybe my vocabulary was not enough, so I could not understand of all she read.
3. Steve: His writing was really good. Maybe it was not so long, but it still very wonderful and what he read I could really understand.
4. Ryan: His writing was not bad, too. From its extent we could know how hard he was. But his writing was unclear to me.
5. Melisa: Her writing was nice. Its content was wonderful but simple. And her reading was very clear, too.

My Grandfather
Everyone always had something important lost in our life, and it always would make us sad, and changed our live. Now I am talking about my grandfather, he was dead in two years ago. And that was the first time I lost my dear family.
It was happen by an accident. Because my grandfather had a disease for a long time and need to operate on in the hospital, and it actually was not a severe operation. But the operation was still failed, and my grandfather was dead in there. I thought we would never go to the hospital anymore. That was the first time I saw my father cried, but I did not cry in that time, because I thought death was just a part of our life. I even hoped they do not cry, because it would make me sad. After we got home, I began to look for my grandfather’s picture; I tried to remember what kind of person he was, but I found that I actually did not know a lot about him. I was used to have my life, and thought everything in my life just normal, so I did not very care about my family in the past. I was so missing him, and I still had a lot of thing wanted to talk with my grandfather, but it was too late. That time I really realized that I had lost an important family forever. The Matrix
1. Neo was a normal person who had two different forms, he was a nice job in the company, but also was a hacker, too.
2. One day, Neo received a message made him to meet Trinity who told what was the question he always looking for, and suggested him to see Morpheus.
3. The agents found out that Morpheus tried to touch with Neo. They were going to arrest Neo, and Morpheus wanted to help him, but Neo was scared for the situation, thus he was arrested by the agents.
4. Although Neo did not trust Morpheus, but he still wanted to know the truth of the world, thus Morpheus took him to the real world.
5. Morpheus took two medicines to let Neo choose, and Neo decided to see the real world, a terrible world.
6. After Neo went to the real world he knew his new comrades, and he had many trainings to learn how to fight with their enemies, the agents who were a kind of software in the Matrix.
7. Morpheus gave Neo a test to make him learn more about the Matrix, although Neo did not pass the second practice, but he already had a lot of advancement in his mind.
8. Morpheus took Neo to see the Oracle who had foresight and wisdom to help humen, but there was a spy in their comrades who betrayed them, thus most of his comrades were be killed, and Morpheus was arrested by the agents, too.
9. Because Morpheus’s sacrifice Neo and Trinity were rescued, but for the secret they had to kill Morpheus.
10. For saving Morpheus, Neo and Trinity decided to back to the Matrix and fight with the agents.
11. Neo finally began to trust himself, and to challenge with the agent, but he was killed by the agent. By Trinity’s love and trust, Neo was resurrected, and he got the power to win the agent, he became a superman.
12. In the end, Neo became the one, the hope of human, he understood the truth of the world, and then he was going to save the world.
